| Just thougth I would drop by and see if anyone is on Xanga anymore. Hello. . . .anyone out there? |

| For those who are wondering this was meant to be my last Xanga post. I have retired. . .
Remember this as you seek to follow Christ especially His words in Matthew 24, He is going to empower those who reach out to the "least of these." The least of these can be rich or poor, but we must be reaching, touching and engaging the culture.
For those of us who are embracing this ministry I leave you with the words of Rev. James Forbes, "Nobody gets into heaven without a letter of reference from the poor." |

| I feel very frustrated to know how to respond to the unfolding events in the south. There is death, destruction and devastation and I have no idea how to make a difference except pray at this point.
How much we take our lives for granted. All can be wiped away in a moment of time.
My hope is built on nothing less. . .
P.S. I feel really really frustrated to know how to respond to the rising gas prices. I may be riding a bike to church during the week. I'm serious. I think I will buy some sheep to take care of my lawn. |
